It’s designed for existing entry thresholds, standard doorways, and exits for increased access. It features a wide patient surface and wheelbase, providing maximum stability during patient transport. To ease operator strain, it also contains a lower lifting bar, one-hand release side rails, positioning, positive action height adjustment, and an overall lightweight aluminum build. For safety, the cot is brightly colored and has reflective labeling, as well as color-coded controls to avoid confusion.
This cot is compatible with the Ferno 175 Fastening System. Compatibility with most ramp systems and existing ambulance cot fastener configurations allow service providers to deploy the bariatric cot when and where they need it.
Optional features include a tow package, single or dual wheel locks, push/pull handles, and side lift handles.
